Move Your Spine!
The spine is designed to both curve and hold curves so problems can occur when we encourage the spine out of its ideal 'S' shape. It's this shape which allows us to flex, extend, twist and lean - a wonderful piece of engineering! Unfortunately many of us will experience a long-term reduction in mobility or even pain as our day-to-day activities do not promote full use of the whole spine through all movement types. Therefore, this course will promote awareness of the ideal spine position as well as encouraging improved funtional movement in the spine so that we can flex, extend, twist and lean with ease. The key to ideal posture? Full range of movement!

These studio sessions use Reformers, Cadillacs and Wunda Chairs to provide both resistance and assistance during your pilates practice. These sessions are suitable for all ages and abilities, whether to improve general strength and and flexibility or to assist with injury rehabilitation.
