“I”                                     - Eloïse Mayall of Eloïse Pilates and Rebalance Massage Therapy

"GDPR"                             - General Data Protection Regulation.  EU regulation which comes into effect on 25th May 2018.  Designed to protect the data

How I Collect Your Personal Information

I collect most of this personal information directly from you – in person, by telephone, text or email and/or via my website.  However, I may also collect information from a third party, with your consent (e.g. from a physiotherapist or other medical professional)

How and Why I Use Your Personal Information

You share your personal information with me to allow me to provide products and services to you. I will only use your data for the purpose for which it was given or if I have a proper reason for doing so, e.g.

 

  • To comply with legal and regulatory obligations

  • For the performance of my agreement with you (e.g. to provide Pilates instruction to you)

  • For Eloïse Pilates business or commercial reasons or those of a third party, as long as this is not overridden by your own rights and interests; or

  • Where you have given consent

 

Your personal information is then used by me to:

  • To provide products and services to you – to provide pilates classes

  • Communicate with you on any matter relating to your classes health concerns, homework given, cancellation of classes and services in general provided by Eloïse Pilates

  • Market Eloïse Pilates and/or Rebalance Massage Therapy services

  • Conducting checks to comply with professional, legal and regulatory obligations that affect my business e.g under health and safety regulation

 

I may, with your consent, share your information with another professional practitioner if needed (e.g. where another instructor is providing teaching cover), this is to ensure your safety in class. 

I may contact you by email or telephone to ask you for your feedback and comments on my services.

Eloïse Pilates may release any information that is required by law or court order. I may record communications with you (such as emails) for the purpose of internal administration.

If you do not provide personal information I ask for, it may delay or prevent me from providing products and services to you.

Record Keeping

All my records shall be kept for at least 7 years following the last occasion you attended a class with me.  You have a right under the new laws to request your personal data be erased, though the right to erasure would be waived if there are any defence or legal claims.

Marketing

On occasion I may send you information about services or products I think may be of interest to you, such as special offers and related information from third parties I think may be of interest to you.

If you would rather not receive this information, please notify me by:

  • Using the “unsubscribe” link in e-mails; or

  • Updating your marketing preference on my Mailchimp system

How I Protect Your Information

I will use all reasonable efforts to safeguard your personal information. I will not share your information with any third party.

Access to, Updating and Correcting Your Information

You have the right, at any time & free of charge, to:

Request a copy of the information that I hold about you. If you would like a copy of some or all of your personal information, please send an email to info.eloisepilates@gmail.com.

Correct any information I hold about you.  If you wish to make a correction, please email me at info.eloisepilates@gmail.com.   If any of your personal information changes please let me know via email as soon as possible.

Be forgotten. You can ask for your personal information to be removed time & it will be deleted, as long as I am still able to meet my legal obligations.

Data Portability.  This is the right to receive the personal information you have provided to me in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and/or to transmit that data to a third party – in certain situations.

Object to your personal data being processed for direct marketing and in certain other situations, e.g. being processed for the purpose of Eloïse Pilates legitimate interests.

Changes to Privacy Policy

I keep my Privacy Policy under regular review. In notice of the new laws regarding your private data I have updated my policy on the 24th May 2018. If I change my Privacy Policy I will inform you via email and by notice on my website so that you may be aware of the information I collect and how I use it at all times.
